He particularly recalls the importance of patristic texts for promoting the ethos of dialogue in relation to non-Christian religions and argues for theological effort to reconnect theology and spirituality in theological work with special regard to ecclesiological aspect of this effort in outreaching to cultural and social aspects of Christian life.
